HM King Celebrates National Action Charter Anniversary with Series of Events

Manama: Bahraini daily newspapers today highlighted a series of events marking the 25th anniversary of the National Action Charter. HM King received senior royal family members as part of the celebrations and engaged in multiple activities to commemorate this significant milestone.

According to Bahrain News Agency, HM King met with the Shura Chairman, Representatives Speaker, and deputy head of the Supreme Judiciary to honor the National Action Charter's anniversary. Additionally, HM King was presented with a book titled "Isa Al Kabeer: Founder of the Modern State" and attended an event organized by the Ministry of Education to mark the occasion.

Further festivities included HM King deputizing HH Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad to inaugurate the Isa Al Kabeer Mosque in Muharraq City. Meanwhile, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad concluded HM King's Endurance Cup Festival and met with Shahid Afridi to discuss cricket's continued development in Bahrain.

In international engagements, the Bahraini Foreign Minister participated in the 62nd Munich Security Conference. The minister held discussions with several international figures, including a former UK Prime Minister, the Latvian Foreign Minister, Oracle's CEO, and the UK Shadow Foreign Secretary, among others. The Foreign Minister's itinerary also included attending the Gulf Research Centre event and meeting with Yemen's Leadership Council President.
