Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has enacted Decree (48) of 2025, which includes significant appointments within the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications. The decree was issued based on a proposal from the Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications and received Cabinet approval.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the decree outlines several key appointments. Hussain Ahmed Rashid Al Shuail, who previously served as Assistant Undersecretary for Air Navigation and Meteorological Services, has been appointed as the Undersecretary for Civil Aviation Affairs at the ministry.
Furthermore, Yassin Hassan Al Sayed Ali Ibrahim, the former Director of the Air Navigation Systems Directorate, has been promoted to Assistant Undersecretary for Air Navigation and Meteorological Services. He takes over this position from Hussain Ahmed Rashid Al Shuail.
Additionally, Mayas Al Moataz Billah Hilmi Al Agha, who was the Director of the Ship Registry and Seamen Affairs Directorate, has been appointed as Assistant Undersecretary for Ports Affairs. He succeeds Salman Nabeel Mohammed Shakeeb in this role.
The Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications is tasked with implementing this decree, which is effective immediately and will be published in the Official Gazette.
