Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa issued Decree (92) of 2024, appointing a deputy chief executive officer at the Information and eGovernment Authority (iGA), based on the proposal of the Minister of Interior and following the approval of the Cabinet. According to Bahrain News Agency, the decree appoints Ali Abdulaziz Mohammed Janahi as the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Electronic Transformation at the Information and eGovernment Authority (iGA). Janahi will replace Dr. Zakareya Ahmed Al Khaja in this key role. The decree mandates that the Minister of Interior is responsible for implementing this decision. It specifies that the decree takes effect from the date of its issuance and will be published in the Official Gazette in accordance with the procedures.
