Manama: His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa, Governor of the Southern Governorate, chaired a meeting of the Governorate's Security Committee. The meeting was attended by Brigadier Hamad Mohammed Al Khayyat, Deputy Governor, and Colonel Shaikh Salman bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Deputy Director General of the Southern Governorate Police Directorate.
According to Bahrain News Agency, HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali emphasized the importance of implementing the directives of General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior. The focus is on strengthening communication with residents, monitoring their needs, and enhancing security, stability, and community safety in the region.
HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali stated that the Security Committee meetings are crucial for reviewing the key needs of citizens across the Southern Governorate. The meetings aim to support efforts to meet citizens' aspirations by implementing necessary measures and procedures. This is done in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior's relevant directorates, ensuring follow-ups on work plans and the development of appropriate solutions that serve the community.
HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali also commended the cooperation with the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science. He highlighted its role in supporting and implementing programs and initiatives that raise awareness, enhance the safety of citizens and residents, and foster community partnership to achieve shared objectives.
The committee reviewed preparations for participation in exhibitions and programs aimed at young people across the governorate. These initiatives are intended to promote awareness and reinforce community values. The Southern Governor directed the Southern Governorate Police Directorate to intensify awareness efforts through these events, aiming to enhance community partnership and promote security awareness across society.
