Southern Governor, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, and Undersecretary of the Cabinet Affairs Ministry, His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, today paid a visit to the British Ambassador to Bahrain, Roderick Drummond, to offer condolences over the passing of HM Queen Elizabeth II.
HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali and HH Shaikh Isa bin Ali extended their condolences and sympathy to His Majesty King Charles III of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Head of Commonwealth, as well as to the UK Royal Family, the friendly British people and the UK Ambassador over HM Queen Elizabeth II’s death.
They praised the legacy of the late Queen, and commended the major role she had played in the strengthening the long-standing solid Bahrain-UK relations of friendship and cooperation.
They also affirmed that the world has lost a great leader and a symbol of peace.
