Abu Dhabi: His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, received Rashid Meredov, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The meeting focused on enhancing bilateral relations and cooperation between the UAE and Turkmenistan across various domains, including economic, trade, investment, and energy. According to Bahrain News Agency, HH Sheikh Abdullah expressed hope that this visit will contribute to the development of cooperation and partnership between the two countries in vital sectors that serve their development. HH Sheikh Abdullah commended the close relations between the UAE and Turkmenistan. Both sides also explored joint cooperation within the framework of international organisations and reviewed a number of regional and international issues of common interest, exchanging views on them. The meeting was attended by Suhail bin Mohammed Al Mazrouei, UAE Minister of Energy and Infrastructur e, and Ahmed bin Ali Al Sayegh, UAE Minister of State.
