Manama: His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, attended the Spartan Sports Festival 2025, witnessing the participation of his sons, His Highness Shaikh Hamad bin Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa and His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa. The festival is an annual event that attracts widespread participation across multiple categories.
According to Bahrain News Agency, His Highness’s sons took part in the Calisthenics competition, specifically in the Street Lifting category for under-16, which was held for the first time in the Kingdom. Both His Highness Shaikh Hamad bin Nasser bin Hamad and His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Nasser bin Hamad showcased remarkable performances in the competition.
His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad highlighted that the Spartan Sports Festival serves as a model for competitive sporting events that aid in building a promising generation. He noted that youth participation in such events reinforces values of discipline, teamwork, and positive challenge, offering an educational experience that immerses them in the competitive sports environment and promotes an active lifestyle. His Highness expressed his commitment to supporting youth involvement in these events.
His Highness praised the organisation of the festival and the high level of competition across its various categories. He extended his congratulations to all first-place winners. In the results, His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Nasser bin Hamad secured first place with 21 points, His Highness Shaikh Hamad bin Nasser bin Hamad took third place with 17 points, and Hassan Mohammed Hassan earned second place with 18 points.
