Manama: Lieutenant General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the National Security Advisor and Royal Guard Commander, extended congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, following the Royal Guard team’s victory in the military boxing championship. The Bahraini team won the title after defeating the British Army team 6-2 in a competition held in the United Kingdom, attended by His Highness Colonel Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Royal Guard Special Force Commander.
According to Bahrain News Agency, HH Shaikh Nasser also extended his congratulations to Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), noting that this achievement reflects the support of His Majesty the King for Bahraini sports and the backing provided by the Commander-in-Chief to all athletes within the BDF.
