His Majesty the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa received Information Affairs Minister Ali bin Mohammed Al Romaihi and the team in charge of the TV programme, “Kafou”, launched with STC Bahrain and in cooperation with the National Plan to consolidate national belonging (Bahrainouna).
HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa praised the programme which aims to cement national unity and foster the spirit of belonging to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
“The importance of the programme lies in documenting the biography of national figures and highlighting their role and their heroic work in the history of Bahrain to pass their legacy to to future generations”, he said.
He paid tribute to the personalities that appeared in the programme, hailing their dedicated efforts and pioneering patriotic work, adding that there more national ionic figures models who deserve to be spotlighted in the upcoming programmess to highlight their experience to the Bahraini people and for future generations.
He lauded the proficient work which contributed to the success of the programme, praising the exemplary cooperation between the Ministry of Information Affairs, STC Bahrain, the Ministry of Interior and the national plan to promote national belonging and consolidate the values of citizenship (Bahrainouna)

On behalf of the team in charge of the programme, the Information Affairs Minister Ali bin Mohammed Al Romaihi expressed thanks and appreciation to H Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa for his support to the programme which represents an opportunity to shed light on the iconic patriotic figures that left their mark on national history.
He said that the concept of the programme aims to strengthen national cohesion and social responsibility, and highlight the accomplished people of Bahrain who had prominent national, social and humanitarian stances.
He said that the team was able to present a distinct media message that contributed to attracting audiences and attracted the attendion of wide segments of Bahraini society.
He pointed out that the team would seek in the future to present more programmess of an informative nature and a distinct message to the Bahraini society.
