Manama: Lieutenant General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor, Royal Guard Commander, and Secretary General of the Supreme Defence Council, received Colonel Shaikh Khalid bin Ali bin Jaber Al Khalifa, Deputy National Security Advisor and Deputy Secretary General of the Supreme Defence Council.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Lt. Gen. HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad commended the outcomes of the inaugural National Defence and Security Forum, held under the theme Strategic Integration: Challenges and Opportunities, and organised by the General Secretariat of the Supreme Defence Council.
Lt. Gen. HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad highlighted that the forum embodied the royal vision in addressing the dynamic and evolving security landscape. He emphasized the importance of the discussions, which featured contributions from senior defence and security leaders in Bahrain, underscoring the need for a unified approach to strengthening defence and security integration in the Kingdom. This approach aligns with the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces.
Col. Shaikh Khalid bin Ali expressed his appreciation for the unwavering support of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad throughout the forum's preparation. Lt. Gen. HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad also praised the efforts of the personnel of the General Secretariat of the Supreme Defence Council in preparing and coordinating the forum.
In recognition of the forum's success, Lt. Gen. HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad received a commemorative gift from Col. Shaikh Khalid bin Ali.
