Manama: Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Foreign Affairs Minister, met with Marko Stucin, State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia, and his accompanying delegation. Both sides discussed means to enhance bilateral cooperation between Bahrain and Slovenia across various domains and to expand collaboration to serve mutual interests. They also exchanged views on regional and international issues of common concern.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the ministers signed a memorandum of understanding on political consultations between their respective foreign ministries. This agreement is aimed at developing coordination and dialogue on regional and international matters to support efforts in achieving security, stability, and diplomatic cooperation.
The meeting was attended by Shaikh Abdullah bin Ali Al Khalifa, Acting Undersecretary for Political Affairs and Director General of Bilateral Relations; Ahmed Ibrahim Al Qurainees, Chief of the European Affairs Sector; and Natalia Al Mansour, Slovenia's Ambassador to Bahrain, residing in Abu Dhabi.
