HH Shaikh Nasser Bin Hamad Opens Shaikha Nayla Bint Hamad Bin Mohammed Al Khalifa Mosque

Marah al hejin: Under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and with support from His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Majesty's Representative for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs, has opened the Shaikha Nayla bint Hamad bin Mohammed Al Khalifa Mosque in Marah Al Hejin, Southern Governorate.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the ceremony was attended by several dignitaries, including His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the General Sports Authority and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee; His Highness Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Vice President of the Supreme Council for Environment and Deputy Chairman of the High Committee of the Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club; Retired Major General Shaikh Ahmed bin Salman bin Duaij Al Khalifa; and Shaikh Dr. Rashid bin Mohammed bin Futtais Al Hajri, Chairman of the Sunni Waqf Council.

His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad unveiled the mosque's commemorative plaque and toured its facilities, reviewing services available to worshippers. He noted that Bahrain's focus on building and renovating mosques during His Majesty the King's era demonstrates its commitment to promoting Islamic values of moderation, tolerance, and fraternity.

His Highness emphasized the role of mosques in strengthening religious values, reinforcing national unity, and consolidating social cohesion within a cohesive society inspired by Islamic principles. He expressed appreciation to those who contributed to the mosque's construction, highlighting its importance in serving citizens and residents in their religious practices.
