Manama: His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Representative of HM the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Chairman of Bapco Energies, met with Javier La Rosa, President of Base Assets and Emerging Countries at Chevron. The meeting was attended by Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Bin Dainah, the Minister of Oil and Environment, along with senior officials.
According to Bahrain News Agency, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad emphasized the importance of international knowledge exchange as a means to strengthen the energy sector. The discussion focused on driving innovation and boosting competitiveness in a bid to contribute to economic development.
The meeting took place on the sidelines of Chevron's participation in MEOS-GEO. During the meeting, asset management practices and the transition to cleaner energy were also reviewed.
