Al Raffa: Under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of HM the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), the Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (BREEF) is set to organise the HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa International Showjumping Championship at the Military Sports Association's field in Al Raffa from February 12 to 15.
According to Bahrain News Agency, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad noted that showjumping in Bahrain is progressing steadily, with achievements being recognized on the international stage. He emphasized that these championships provide riders with an opportunity to demonstrate their technical skills.
His Highness highlighted the achievements of showjumping in Bahrain under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, supported by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. The ongoing support has been pivotal in the development of the sport within the Kingdom.
HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad also praised the efforts of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of SCYS, Chairman of the General Sports Authority (GSA), and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC), for his continuous support of sporting championships held in the Kingdom.
Furthermore, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad commended the Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation, led by HH Shaikh Isa bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, along with all federation members and committees, for their dedication in promoting and advancing showjumping.
As the championship unfolds, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad wished all participating riders success and encouraged them to deliver their best performances. He emphasized the positive impact that the championship is expected to have on future international competitions.
