HH Shaikh Nasser Appoints HH Shaikha Sheema as Head of Humanitarian Volunteer Initiatives at Royal Humanitarian Foundation

Manama: His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, with the blessing of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, has appointed Her Highness Shaikha Sheema bint Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa as the Head of Humanitarian Volunteer Initiatives at the Royal Humanitarian Foundation. Shaikh Nasser, who serves as the Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and the Chairman of the Foundation’s Board of Trustees, announced this decision to enhance the foundation’s humanitarian efforts.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the appointment of Shaikha Sheema aligns with the foundation’s strategy to strengthen institutional volunteer work and develop sustainable humanitarian initiatives. It also aims to engage both young and senior leaders in institutional field work. Shaikh Nasser emphasized that this move demonstrates the foundation’s commitment to empowering young national talent and supporting leadership capable of innovating in humanitarian endeavors. He mentioned plans for launching more organized volunteer initiatives to promote the values of giving and social responsibility. Shaikh Nasser conveyed his best wishes for Shaikha Sheema’s success in her new role.
