Manama: The Board of Trustees of the Isa Award for Service to Humanity held a meeting chaired by His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, Special Representative of His Majesty the King and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Isa Award for Service to Humanity.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting reviewed a report prepared by the Award's General Secretariat. This report followed a field visit by Ali Abdullah Khalifa, Secretary-General of the Award, and Ali Al Aradi, Board Member, to the People's Republic of Bangladesh. The visit aimed to examine the humanitarian work, projects, and initiatives conducted by a charitable institution nominated for the sixth edition of the Isa Award for Service to Humanity. The assessment focused on their compliance with the Award's criteria and standards.
The Award's General Secretariat is in the process of selecting the winning nominee for the prestigious award ceremony, which is held every two years under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
