Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,963.54 points, marking an increase of 2.66 points above the previous closing. This uptick was primarily driven by advancements in the financial and industrial sectors.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index also saw positive movement, closing at 866.11 points, which is an increase of 4.32 points from the previous closing. The trading session saw 127 equity transactions, with a total volume of 5,130,955 shares, valued at BD 1,430,201.
Investors focused their trading activities primarily in the financial sector, which represented 45.89% of the total value of securities traded during the session.
