HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa visits Iraqi President

HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, Special Representative of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, paid a visit to the Iraqi President Dr. Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid at his residence in Algeria.

The two sides reviewed fraternal relations binding the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Iraq, stressing cooperation to further bolster joint ties to serve common interests.

They discussed issues featuring in the agenda of the Arab Summit which started today, stressing the importance of reaching an outcome that consolidates pan-Arab cooperation and solidarity to confront regional and international challenges.

The meeting was also attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Alzayani and Bahrain’s Ambassador to Algeria Fuad Sadiq Al Baharna.

It was also attended by from the Iraqi side by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Dr. Fuad Hussein, Iraqi Parliament’s Foreign Relations Committee member Abbas Al Zamli, Iraqi President’s office director Nizar Mohammed Said and Iraqi Ambassador Representative to the Arab League Ahmed Al Dailami.
