Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS) First Deputy Chairman, General Sports Authority Chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee President His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, hailed youth strides in the prosperous era of His Majesty King Hamad bin isa Al Khalifa.
He expressed pride in the Bahraini youth who have accomplished honorable that reflect the bright image of their homeland and show their to continue building on the gains of the comprehensive development process and contribute to shaping the promising future of the country
HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad made the statement as Bahrain joins the other nations in observing tomorrow, August 12, the International Youth Day, which is being held this year under the slogan “Intergenerational Solidarity”.
He praised HM the King’s role in laying strong foundations for for empowering Bahraini youth and enabling them to hold high-level positions in the Government, under the follow-up and supervision of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
He stressed the importance of including comprehensive strategies and programmes in government policies to continue investing in and empowering youth and developing their capabilities.
He lauded the role of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, headed by His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs in supporting and activating these policies and strategies through specific initiatives.
