Manama: His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), President of the General Sports Authority (GSA), and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC), visited the Bahrain national football team ahead of their match against Saudi Arabia. The match is set to be held in the Kingdom of Bahrain, tomorrow in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the training session was attended by His Highness Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Vice President of the GSA; His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa, Vice President of the BOC; and His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Isa Al Khalifa, Vice President of the Bahrain Football Association.
HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad met the players and staff, conveying the best wishes of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the SCYS, for a positive result to enhance Bahrain's chances of qualifying for the World Cup.
HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad expressed confidence in the team's ability to deliver a strong performance and commended everyone's efforts in elevating Bahrain's standing. His Highness reiterated continued support for the team and wished them success in achieving the Kingdom's World Cup aspirations.
