Manama: His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Chairman of the General Sports Authority, and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, received Tareq Al Ibrahim, Director of MBC1, MBC Drama, and SVOD Content at MBC Group. This meeting took place on the sidelines of the Al Dana Drama Awards 2025 ceremony.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Dr. Ramzan bin Abdulla Al Noaimi, Minister of Information, was also present during the meeting. HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad praised the significant role played by MBC Group in enhancing the media landscape, recognizing its leadership as a prominent media network in the Arab world.
HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad further honored all sponsors and supporters whose contributions were crucial to the success of the award. The award aims to support and develop the drama sector in the Gulf region and the broader Arab world. The sponsors included MBC Group, Sheraton Bahrain Hotel, Onyx Rotana Hotel, GBL Company, and Gulf Air.
HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad emphasized the considerable contribution of the sponsors and supporters in backing the awards. He highlighted that such collaboration demonstrates the effective partnership between the public and private sectors in progressing the artistic movement in the Kingdom.
