Bahrain Newspapers Highlight Recent Activities of National Leaders and Ministries

Manama: Bahraini newspapers today focused on recent national activities, emphasizing the engagements of HM King, HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and various ministers across different sectors. Key highlights include the issuance of two new laws and significant diplomatic meetings.

According to Bahrain News Agency, HM King issued Law (26) of 2025 and Law (27) of 2025, marking important legislative progress. In separate events, HM King expressed gratitude to Pope Leo XIV, and HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister met with senior officials, including the Undersecretary of the Court of Cassation and the Chairman of the Bahrain Pilgrimage Mission, as well as members of the High Committee for Hajj and Umrah Affairs. The meetings focused on ongoing and future initiatives within the kingdom. Additionally, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister received thanks from the Sovereign of the Vatican City State, highlighting diplomatic relations.

The Foreign Minister engaged in diplomatic dialogues, receiving a former UK parliament member and meeting with the Cyprus Ambassador, underscoring Bahrain's international relations. In the education sector, the Education Minister approved new licenses and expanded services for schools and inaugurated the 13th annual Career Day at Ahlia University, emphasizing the ministry's commitment to educational advancement.

The Housing Minister's meeting with the Saudi Ambassador and the Oil Minister's reception of the Serbian Ambassador were also noted, pointing to ongoing bilateral cooperation. The Works Ministry launched a preparatory course for the PMI Construction Professional Certification, demonstrating a commitment to professional development in construction.

The Industry Minister honored the winners of the Factory of Ideas 2024, reflecting support for innovation and industry. Meanwhile, Gulf Air announced the cancellation of scheduled flights to Jordan, Iraq, and Azerbaijan due to current regional developments, highlighting a responsive approach to regional situations.
