Manama: His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Chairman of the General Sports Authority, and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, has issued Edict (20) of 2025, which mandates the dissolution of the Bahraini Deaf Club.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the edict was part of regulatory procedures implemented by the General Sports Authority. These procedures pertain to the status of clubs operating under its supervision, ensuring compliance with the governing regulations.
The Bahraini Deaf Club was officially registered under entry number (40) in the records of the General Sports Authority. The decision to dissolve the club is aligned with ongoing efforts to streamline and regulate sports entities within the region.
