HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Chairman of the General Sports Authority, and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee has issued Edict 7 for the year 2022 forming high committee tasked to organise the the School Sports Tournament in Bahrain.
Chaired by Youth and Sports Affairs Minister Aymen bin Tawfiq Almoayed, the committee also includes as mebers GSA Chief Executive Officer Dr. Abdulrahman Sadiq Askar, General Director of Schools Affairs Dr Mohammed Mubarak bin Ahmed, BOC Secretary-General Faris Mustafa Al Kooheji, Dr Shaikh Saqer bin Salman Al Khalifa, President of Bahrain Universities and Schools Sports Federation.
The newly-formed organising committee also features as rapporteur Fajer Jassim Hassan, BOC Director of the International and Arabic Relations.
The committee will be responsible for handling all the procedures required to prepare and organise the School Sports Tournament in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
It will also be tasked to coordinate with the public and private parties to host the event and submit a report to HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa for approval.
