Manama: His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), President of the General Sports Authority, and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, congratulated His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the SCYS, on the victory of the horse My Cloud from the KHK Racing team, which won first place at the Royal Ascot Festival.
According to Bahrain News Agency, HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad highlighted My Cloud's win as a reflection of the strong support Bahraini sports receive from His Majesty the King, the care of HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and the attention of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad. His Highness added that it continues the achievements of Bahraini equestrian sports at all levels.
HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad said this achievement is a source of pride, given the prestige and global standing of the Ascot Festival, and wished the KHK Racing team success in future competitions.
