Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 2,062.17 points, marking a decrease of 4.94 points below the previous closing. This drop is attributed to declines in the communication service sector, the financial sector, and the consumer staple sector.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index also experienced a downturn, closing at 1,026.39 points, a decrease of 3.55 points from its previous close. The results from the trading day indicated that a total of 92 equity transactions took place, with a trading volume of 2,797,668 and a value of BD 1,215,884.
Investors showed significant activity in the material sector, which accounted for 49.11% of the total value of securities traded. These movements reflect a focused trading strategy amidst the overall decline in the indices.
