Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport (SCYS), Shaikh Salman bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa, has congratulated SCYS First Deputy Chairman, President of Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC), His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, following the issuance of a royal decree appointing him as Board Chairman of the General Sports Authority (GSA).
He described the appointment as a reflection of the royal trust in the ability of HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa to further promote the sport movement and build on previous achievements. He praised HH Shaikh Khalid’s wealth of experience, recalling his success in leading many sport authorities and federations. He stressed the need for the sport community to support HH, wishing him every success.
The SCYS Secretary General also congratulated GSA Deputy Board Chairman, Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa, the board members and Chief Executive, Abdulrahman Sadaq Askar, on the royal trust, wishing them every success.
