Manama: His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Chairman of the General Sports Authority, and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC), has issued two edicts to appoint new members to the BOC board for the upcoming electoral term.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the first edict, Edict (1) of 2025, appoints His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa as a board member of the BOC. The appointment is made in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations governing such decisions. Following this, Edict (2) of 2025 was issued, appointing Dr. Shaikha Hessa bint Khalid Al Khalifa as another board member, also in compliance with the relevant legal and regulatory framework.
Additionally, the BOC board, under the leadership of HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad, has appointed HH Shaikh Isa bin Ali as the Vice President of the board, further solidifying his role within the organization.
