Manama: Lieutenant General Abdullah bin Hassan Al Nuaimi, Minister of Defence Affairs, inaugurated a new facility at the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) as part of celebrations marking the 57th anniversary of the BDF's establishment. Lt. Gen. Al Nuaimi unveiled the commemorative plaque and was briefed on the facility's sections, amenities, and equipment.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the minister underscored the commitment to enhancing all BDF units and branches, both militarily and administratively, by equipping them with modern facilities and advanced technology. This initiative aligns with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and the continuous support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister.
Lt. Gen. Al Nuaimi also highlighted the support of Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the BDF. The minister emphasised that the anniversary of the BDF's establishment is a significant national occasion that highlights the role played by the BDF in safeguarding national security, stability, and achievements.
