Manama: His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, who serves as the First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Chairman of the General Sports Authority, and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, has issued Edict (4) of 2025. This edict concerns the appointment of the new Board of Directors for the Bahrain Triathlon Association for the term 2024-2028.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the edict specifies the individuals appointed to the Board of Directors for the upcoming term. Yousif Abdullah Yousif Akbar Ali Redha has been appointed as the President of the association. The board also includes Abbas Moosa Buhassan, Sahar Abdulkarim Abbas Qanati, Suad Emad Abdulrahman Al Moayyed, Eman Ebrahim Ali Ahmed Mubarak Al Hayki, Sarah Jassim Mohammed Ahmed Abdullah, and Abdulhameed Ali Mohammed Jumaa Al Balooshi as members.
The appointments are expected to guide the Bahrain Triathlon Association through its new term, focusing on the development and promotion of triathlon sports in Bahrain. The newly appointed board members bring a variety of experiences and are anticipated to contribute positively to the association's objectives.
