Sakhir: His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister's Court and Chairman of the High Committee of the Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club (REHC), attended the 18th race of the 2025/2026 season, which took place at the club's racecourse in Al Raffah, Sakhir.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the race was organized for the Bahrain Jewellery Centre Cup, the Porsche Cups, the Fatees Al Hajeri Cup, and the Jockey Club Cup. The event was attended by several dignitaries and representatives from the sponsoring entities. The race day included a series of entertainment activities and events.
During the event, winners of the race cups were awarded. The Fatees Al Hajeri Cup was presented to winning trainer Yousif Taher by Ali bin Mohammed Al Hajeri. Ahmed Shirazi, the Managing Director of Bahrain Jewellery Centre, handed the fourth round trophy to Faisal Mefareh Al Ajmi and the sixth round trophy to owner Abdullah Fawzi Nass.
Sophie Able, General Manager of the Jockey Club, awarded the seventh round trophy to owner Hadi Al Afoo. Timothy Price, General Manager of Porsche - Bahrain, presented the eighth round trophy to Hasan Mefareh Al Ajmi. The event featured strong competition throughout the races.
