Davos: His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Isa bin Salman Education Charitable Trust and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Labour Fund (Tamkeen), met today with His Royal Highness Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, the Crown Prince of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting took place on the sidelines of HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman's leadership of a high-level Bahraini delegation at the World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting in Davos, Switzerland. During the meeting, HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman highlighted the longstanding relations between Bahrain and Jordan, which are built on a strong foundation of cooperation and coordination, and are supported by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the King of Jordan, His Majesty King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein.
His Highness acknowledged the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in advancing the Bahrain-Jordan partnership towards achieving shared objectives. HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman also emphasised the importance of enhancing the existing bilateral partnership to meet the aspirations of growth and prosperity for both nations.
The meeting included discussions on issues of mutual interest and reviewed the latest developments in regional and international arenas. The Minister of Finance and National Economy, HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, along with several senior officials, also attended the meeting.
