Manama: Under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), His Highness Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid bin Isa Al Khalifa, who serves as the Vice President of the Supreme Council for Environment, Deputy Chairman of the Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club (REHC) High Committee, and Member of the SCYS, attended the conclusion of the two-star Nasser bin Hamad International Showjumping Championship. This championship was organised by the Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (BREEF).
According to Bahrain News Agency, HH Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid praised the championship's level, attributing the sport's growth to the support of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad and the follow-up of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the First Deputy Chairman of the SCYS, Chairman of the General Sports Authority (GSA), and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC). He acknowledged the efforts of the organising committees and extended congratulations to the winners.
In the championship, Hussain Dadullah from the Ministry of Interior team emerged victorious in the Grand Prix. Ahmed Mansoor from the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) team secured the second position, while Hussain Dadullah also claimed the third position with another horse. Dadullah further excelled by winning the medium category, followed by Mohammed Saif and Saber Salman from the BDF team. In the small category, Maayouf Al Rumaihi took first place, with Sultan Al Rumaihi and Bader Janahi following in second and third positions, respectively.
The championship received support from several sponsors, including Bapco Energies, Al Salam Bank, Binayeh, STC, CSS, Alba, Bahrain Bank, the Economic Development Board, Bahrain Marina, and Dr. Nael Al Hazeem Medical Centre.
