Manama: His Highness Lieutenant Commander Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa visited several United Kingdom Royal Marines Commando training centres today, reflecting the ongoing cooperation between the Bahrain Defence Force and the UK Royal Armed Forces.
According to Bahrain News Agency, HH Lieutenant Commander Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman affirmed the enduring Bahrain-UK relations, rooted in their shared history of cooperation and multisectoral collaboration. He emphasised the mutual commitment to advancing the Bahrain-UK strategic partnership. HH noted that this commitment is supported by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister, to benefit both Kingdoms and their peoples.
HH Lieutenant Commander Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman was briefed on the tasks and duties of the units, their combat readiness, and toured the
facility to review the latest advanced systems. On this occasion, His Highness highlighted the role of the UK Royal Armed Forces, alongside the armed forces of allied countries, in maintaining stability and enhancing maritime navigation security both regionally and globally.
HH Lieutenant Commander Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman praised the UK’s commitment to strengthening cooperation with the Kingdom of Bahrain across all sectors, particularly in the military and defence fields. HH also wished everyone success in carrying out their duties.
