Health Minister Dr. Jaleela bint Al Sayyed Jawad Hasan received today the Ashura Commemoration Coordination Committee, led by Dr Lulwa Rashid Showeiter, Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Primary Healthcare Centres.
She said that Bahrain, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, is keen on further consolidating religious liberties, which turned the Kingdom into a model of pluralism, respect and tolerance in the world.
She praised the support and keen follow-up of the Government, chaired by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
She expressed thanks to the medical and nursing personnel for their dedicated efforts which contributed to the success of the Ashura Commemoration. She noted that the Imam Al Hussein Medical Clinic has collected 500 blood bags in support of the Central Blood Bank.
