Manama: Dr. Jaleela bint Al Sayed Jawad Hassan, Minister of Health, held bilateral meetings during her participation in Abu Dhabi Global Health Week (ADGHW) 2025. The meetings discussed cooperation in the health sector.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the minister met with Dr. Mikhail Murashko, Minister of Health of the Russian Federation. The meeting reviewed health cooperation between the two countries, digital transformation in the health sector, preventive healthcare, and specialised training. These areas contribute to innovation and the achievement of universal health coverage.
She also met with Mansoor Ibrahim Al Mansoori, Chairman of the Department of Health in Abu Dhabi, where discussions focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation and strategic partnerships to develop health services and adopt innovative initiatives to improve care quality.
Dr. Hassan met with Charlotte Ashton, Director of External Affairs at the Office for Health Economics in the United Kingdom. They discussed the economic impact of health technologies, the role of health technology assessment in policymaking, and opportunities for cooperation in health investment, adult immunisation programmes, and innovative health financing models.
The minister underlined the importance of regional and international partnerships in advancing healthcare systems and improving the efficiency and quality of services provided to communities.
