Hamza Kooheji to Participate in BRAVE CF 91 Co-Main Event.

Manama: BRAVE International Combat Week (Bahrain 2024), held under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), Chairman of the General Sports Authority (GSA), and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC), returns to Bahrain with BRAVE CF 91 on December 13. BRAVE Combat Federation, enjoying a record-breaking run in 2024, will host BRAVE CF 91 at the Khalifa Sports City Arena as its 11th event of the year. The week-long event will also feature BRAVE CF 92 on 15 December and the IMMAF Youth Asian Championships. According to Bahrain News Agency, the organisation has revealed the co-main event for the much-anticipated fight night as Arab MMA legend Hamza Kooheji will take on Turkish superstar Alperen Karabulut. Kooheji, coming back from a two-year hiatus due to injury, recently made an impressive return with a first-round TKO victory in Belarus. Now fighting on home soil, he aims to continue his momentum in Bah rain. Before his injury, Kooheji had secured a win over Eduardo Mora at BRAVE CF 65, following his title fight loss to Brad Katona at BRAVE CF 57. An impressive win in the co-main event at BRAVE CF 91 could place him back in contention for the Bantamweight title. Karabulut, making his promotional debut with BRAVE CF, brings extensive experience as a top-ranked kickboxer, Muay Thai fighter, and veteran MMA fighter. With over 100 fights across Muay Thai, Kickboxing, and Freestyle Wrestling, the Turkish star poses a dangerous challenge for Kooheji. Karabulut is riding high on a recent first-round stoppage win in MMA and holds a professional MMA record of 11 wins and four losses, with seven of his victories coming through finishes. Facing a legendary name like Kooheji presents a big opportunity for Karabulut to establish himself on the global MMA stage.
