Manama: The Higher Committee for Hajj and Umrah Affairs has announced that it has received 54 applications from Hajj tour operators seeking approval to operate during the 1448 AH / 2027 Hajj season. The application period concluded on August 2, marking the next phase of evaluation for the committee.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the committee has commenced reviewing all applications to ensure they align with the approved requirements and criteria. This step is crucial before the final list of approved Hajj tour operators can be announced. The committee has also stressed that Hajj tour operators are prohibited from advertising their services or prices until they have received official approval to operate.

The committee further noted that the final number of pilgrims allocated to each Hajj tour operator will be determined based on the registration and selection of pilgrims through the electronic platform. This process will adhere to the approved priorities, registration order, and the allocated quota.
