Manama: Yousef bin Abdulhussain Khalaf, Minister of Legal Affairs and Acting Minister of Labour, announced that Gulf Air has added 400 job vacancies for Bahraini citizens to the National Employment Platform. The initiative aims to support national employment and sustainable economic growth by providing job opportunities to citizens.
According to Bahrain News Agency, this move follows the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, who has mandated the provision of three job opportunities to every registered job seeker by the end of the year. This effort reflects the government's commitment to addressing employment needs and bolstering economic stability.
The minister also emphasized the ongoing collaboration between the Ministry of Labour, the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), and private sector institutions. This cooperation is crucial in expanding job opportunities and meeting the demands of the labour market, ensuring that the workforce is equipped to contribute effectively to the economy.
