Manama: Government Hospitals have launched a head and neck cancer awareness platform at Avenues Mall, aiming to promote early detection and prevention.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the platform aims to educate the public about the symptoms of head and neck cancer, methods of prevention, and the importance of early detection. The disease is considered highly treatable if diagnosed at an early stage. The platform also highlights risk factors, including smoking and certain viral infections.
The platform will be available on May 8 and 9, featuring visual and written educational content, with the participation of consultants and specialists offering health guidance for all segments of society, in cooperation with health associations and experts.
