Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,917.13 points, reflecting an increase of 5.59 points above the previous closing. This rise was attributed to gains in the communication services sector, the financial sector, the industrials sector, and the real estate sector.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index also showed an increase, closing at 810.86 points, which is 3.50 points higher than the previous closing. The results highlighted that a total of 89 equity transactions occurred with a trading volume of 1,943,601, amounting to BD 446,402 in value.
Investors showed a preference for the financial sector, which accounted for 81.04% of the total value of securities traded during the session.
