Manama: Dr. Mariam Athbi Al Jalahma, CEO of Government Hospitals, received Fatema Al Alawi, CEO of Bahrain Islamic Bank (BisB), to discuss avenues for enhancing cooperation between the two entities.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Dr. Al Jalahma emphasized the vital role that financial and banking institutions play in supporting various aspects of economic development and advancing prosperity across all sectors. She praised BisB's ongoing efforts, particularly its dedication to forging strong partnerships with the public sector, which aim to enhance community services, including healthcare.
Dr. Al Jalahma noted that such public-private partnerships are instrumental in improving healthcare services and fulfilling citizens' expectations by increasing service efficiency and achieving the highest standards of healthcare and patient care.
Fatema Al Alawi, on her part, reiterated BisB's commitment to backing initiatives that bolster Bahrain's healthcare system. The meeting also explored the implementation of several joint initiatives designed to improve healthcare services.
