Manama: Gold prices rose to their highest level in over a month during Friday trading, heading for weekly gains. Spot gold increased by 1.3% to reach USD 3,428.28 per ounce, after earlier touching its highest level since May 7. It has gained more than 3.5% so far this week.
According to Bahrain News Agency, among other precious metals, spot silver edged down 0.1% to USD 36.33 per ounce. Platinum fell by 0.8% to USD 1,285.21, while palladium held steady at USD 1,055.21.
