Bahrain and Morocco Foreign Ministers Discuss Regional Security and Cooperation

Manama: Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bahrain, engaged in a telephone conversation with Nasser Bourita, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccan Expatriates. The dialogue focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation and coordination to serve mutual interests.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the ministers reviewed recent regional developments, particularly the ongoing military escalation between Israel and Iran. They discussed the implications of this conflict on regional security and stability. Both ministers emphasized the necessity of reducing tensions and halting further escalation. They also underscored the importance of continuing US-Iran negotiations concerning the Iranian nuclear program to maintain peace and stability in the region.
