Kuala lumpur: Global electric vehicle sales: Global electric vehicle sales grew only 6% in November, the slowest pace since February 2024, according to Benchmark Mineral Intelligence.
According to Bahrain News Agency, China recorded a 3% increase, while North America saw a sharp 42% decline following the end of EV tax credits. Europe and other regions posted strong growth of 36% and 35% respectively.
The slowdown reflects shifts in policy direction across major markets, with some governments and manufacturers moderating earlier commitments to rapid electrification. In China, the scheduled reduction of state subsidies at the end of the year is expected to place additional pressure on consumer demand.
