Manama: Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), attended a workshop organized by the General Directorate of Digital Transformation and Information Technology. The event saw the participation of the Assistant Secretaries General and heads of the General Secretariat's organisational units.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the workshop focused on reviewing the efforts implemented to date and discussing the strategic directions for the future digital transformation operating model. The aim is to strengthen decision-making processes and ensure that digital initiatives align with the institutional requirements of the GCC General Secretariat.
The Secretary General emphasized the importance of assessing and upgrading the digital infrastructure within the GCC General Secretariat and its affiliated organisational units to keep pace with rapid advancements in this sector.
