GCC Secretary General Condemns Iran-Aligned Militia Attacks on Saudi Arabia

Manama: Jasem Mohamed Al Budaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), condemned and denounced in the strongest terms the continued terrorist attacks on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by Iran-aligned militias in Iraq, emphasising that these hostile acts represent a dangerous escalation, a flagrant violation of the Kingdom's sovereignty, and a direct threat to its security and stability, as well as to regional peace and security.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Al Budaiwi underscored that the GCC states stand as one alongside the Kingdom, fully supporting all measures it takes to protect its security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.

He said the continued terrorist attacks pose a direct threat to regional peace and security and undermine international efforts to de-escalate tensions and strengthen security and stability.
