GCC Secretary General: Alaska Summit Highlights Resolving Disputes Through Cooperation Dialogue and Peaceful Solutions

Alaska: Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), welcomed the meeting between Donald Trump, President of the United States of America, and Vladimir Putin, President of the Russian Federation, held in the city of Alaska. The Secretary General commended the positive atmosphere that accompanied the Alaska Summit, which highlighted that resolving disputes and crises comes through cooperation, constructive dialogue, and peaceful solutions.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Albudaiwi underlined the steadfast position of the GCC countries, based on supporting peaceful dialogue to resolve regional and international issues. He emphasized the importance of strengthening and supporting international efforts aimed at resolving the Russian-Ukrainian crisis, as the best way to enhance international peace and security.
