GCC Sec Gen Announces Gulf Weeks Launch in Kuwait Ahead of 45th Gulf Summit.

Riyadh: Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), noted that the launch of Gulf Weeks in Kuwait this coming Friday coincides with the 45th Gulf Summit which will take place on December 1. According to Bahrain News Agency, the Secretary General expressed his appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Mishal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, the Amir of the State of Kuwait, for his unwavering support of the Cooperation Council's progress across all sectors. He also thanked Abdulrahman Badah Al Mutairi, Kuwaiti Minister of Information, and the ministry's personnel in Kuwait, for their support and efforts in the preparation and execution of the events planned for Gulf Weeks, in collaboration with relevant state entities. The Secretary General said that several events will be held, including a photo exhibition of the blessed Gulf summits held over the past four decades, in addition to other events focusing on political, economic, security, military, cultural, and entrepreneurial matte rs, as well as the achievements in supporting and empowering women and youth. He emphasised that these events aim to familiarise Kuwaiti citizens and residents with the achievements of the blessed journey of the Cooperation Council and to strengthen the spirit of Gulf belonging. He noted that these events will take place at various locations in Kuwait from November 22-29.
