Manama: The Council of Representatives hosted the launch of the third phase of the "Future Bet" programme, organised by the Bahrain Institute for Political Development in cooperation with the General Secretariat of the Council of Representatives. Participants underwent realistic parliamentary simulations, including committee elections, field visits, and standing committee meetings.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the programme provided practical training on parliamentary processes, legislative authority, and committee functions. Participants in the programme are also scheduled to meet Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives, and to attend the weekly council session, providing them with a direct opportunity to observe parliamentary work mechanisms.
The programme included practical training on the procedures for holding parliamentary sessions and the protocols followed, concluding with an actual parliamentary simulation held in the main council chamber.
